The movement is surrounded by a round design case with 18K red gold front and back bezels enclosing a central caseband of titanium. It takes an extensive series of stamping and machining operations, to say nothing of the several days of adjustments required to produce the three-part ergonomically curving case design developed by Richard Mille. Unlike the other round watches in the collection, the RM 63-01 Dizzy Hands was the very first to have a curved, round front bezel; a subtle mark of the artistry held within its sensual and unique exterior.
The case is assembled with 16 spline screws in grade 5 titanium and abrasion-resistant washers in steel 316L.
